As the sun rises, the day begins with a trip to brush our pearly whites and wash our faces. Then as to-do lists fill our minds and thoughts of the day ahead stack up, it’s important to remember that self-care cannot wait, whether you’ve had a rough week or just need some time to yourself.
When you start seeing skincare as self-care, it means there are at least two opportunities a day for you to turn a time-consuming skincare routine into an opportunity to practice mindfulness. This means simply taking time to be more ‘in the present’ rather than letting your brain charge into what’s next.
While you wash your face, apply your favourite CBD face mask, or CBD body salve after a warm bath into the tender areas of your skin, just take a few moments each day to notice your surroundings.
