With Christmas only a matter of days away, its fair to say that Christmas spirit is in the air! Whether you're yet to do your Christmas shopping, still don't have plans for the big day, or can't wait for it to be over(!) one thing should remain constant and that's your CBD intake.
If you've followed us for a while you'll know that we love a CBD recipe (find more here). Adding CBD to food and snacks is a fun way to get your daily dose, as well as a perfect excuse to get you in the kitchen to get creative! In this Christmas edition of our CBD Snack Series, we've curated the perfect Christmas Pudding Cookie, each serving a 7mg CBD dose.
175g softened butter
85g caster sugar
200g plain flour
2tbsp cocoa powder
70mg Love Hemp CBD oil (approx 7mg CBD per cookie)
Mix the butter and sugar together with a wooden spoon or electric mixer until soft and fluffy.
Stir in the flour and cocoa and knead into a dough with your hands. Roll into a sausage shape, wrap in cling film and chill for 1 hr
Remove from fridge, roll out to around a 1cm thickness, and cut into rounds with a cookie cutter
Bake for 10mins at 180c. Once cooked, allow to fully cool.
For the frosting: mix 4 tbsp icing sugar with 1tbsp water to make a thick icing, mix in the CBD oil (we used orange flavour).
Either use a spoon or piping bag to add it to one half of the cookies.
Add 2 cranberries and create small green leaves with green icing.
