What is CBD?
CBD is a natural extract derived from hemp (cannabis sativa), a variety of cannabis. CBD is short for Cannabidiol and is one of many cannabinoids; a naturally occurring compound found in the hemp plant. Like most plant families, different varieties of hemp are known for different things.
Does CBD get you high?
CBD-rich hemp doesn’t produce the psychoactive effects commonly associated with other varieties of cannabis. This means it’s safe, legal and won’t get you high – even in high doses. THC is the compound found in cannabis which causes a high and all of our products are certified THC free.
How much CBD Oil should I take?
When it comes to CBD, some people have higher tolerance levels than others. It’s all about finding the right amount for you and your body. Always start with a lower dose such as 10mg twice per day and gradually build up to a dosage that suits your needs.
Always remember that the Food Standards Agency (FSA) recommends no more than 70mg a day for healthy adults.
What time of day should I take CBD oil?
It all depends on your CBD goals. If you’d like to take CBD to help support productivity, take it in the morning before a busy day at work. If you’re looking for something to help support a good night’s sleep, take it at night. The most important thing is to remain consistent, and take your daily dosage everyday!
What are the different ways I can take CBD?
CBD products can be taken orally through oils, sprays, capsules, edibles and beverages, or topically through cosmetics and healthcare products. There are many innovative products and methods available on the market and it’s just about finding the best way to enjoy CBD for you.
Some people like to take CBD as and when they need it, and this is where one of our CBD sprays are a convenient option as they are easy to consume when out and about – a simple few sprays under your tongue and you’re good to go! Other people like to do what is known as “split-dosing”, and this is where you would take half your dose in the morning and half in the evening, offering your body a steady supply of CBD. Whatever your preferred method, just be sure to be consistent and take it daily.
